Description

P E N A R – 13 is newly developed non – alkali type penetrating agent. It shows excellent penetrating effect for alkaline treatment on cotton, especially in highly concentrated alkaline baths such as mercerization of cotton textile.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

SPECIAL FEATURES:

1. PENAR – 13 show excellent penetrating effect in 15 – 30% NaOH solution and is very useful as an auxiliary for mercerization process of cotton textile.
2. PENAR – 13 is extremely low foaming type surfactant and prevents foam trouble.
3. PENAR – 13 is also useful as accelerator for weight reduction process of polyester fabrics.

HOW TO USE:

Principally use PENAR – 13 at the ratio of 3g / liter – 7g/ liter but this varies with treatment conditions and treated fabrics.

2. FOAMING TEST:

Test Condition:
Churn the test liquid for 30 seconds with electric mixer, then measure the foam height after 10 seconds and 30 seconds.
Concentration of NaOH : 15%, 20%, and 25%
Concentration of tested auxiliaries : 5g / liter and 10g / liter and 10g / liter volume of tested liquid : 100cc
