(ALPHA AMYLASE – Enzyme Powder type Desizing Agent)
IWA-ENZ is specially developed product for Indian condition having ALPHA AMYLASE type of Enzymatic Desizing Agent. Which is leading product today as it is,having consistent Excellent Quality as well Economic in Cost also.
IWA-ENZ is specially developed to remove sizing material completely from grey fabrics. It is Most Important and necessary to remove size in achieving uniform finishing on fabric. i.e. Bleaching Dyeing and Resing Finishing etc.
APPLICATION:
1. Jigger Desizing
Pre-washing: | Run 2 ends in boiling water |
Impregnation and reaction: | Run 2 – 4 Ends at 65 – 75 Deg. Cent. and then, heat gradually to 85 – 90 Deg. Cent. during last running. |
IWA-ENZ as follows for various fabrics.
100% Cotton Thick Fabric = 4 ~ 10g/L
100% Cotton Thin Fabric = 3 ~ 8g/L
Polyester Blended = 3 ~ 8g/L
[Also add IWA-WAFAN 1 ~ 2g/L]
After Washing: With water at 95 – 100 Deg. Cent., If necessary with IWA WAFAN .
2. Continuous Desizing
Pre-washing: | Boiling water for 20 Seconds. |
Saturating
IWA-ENZ as follows for various fabrics.
100% Cotton Thick Fabric = 4 ~ 10g/L
100% Cotton Thin Fabric = 3 ~ 8g/L
Polyester Blended = 3 ~ 8g/L
[Also add IWA-WAFAN 1 ~ 2g/L]
Steaming :
(a) At 75 ~ 80 Deg. Cent. for more than 15 minutes.
(b) At 85 ~ 90 Deg. Cent. for more than 5 – 10 minutes.
(c) At 95 ~ 100 Deg. Cent. for more than 1 – 3 minutes.
After Washing: Boiling off with IWA-WAFAN and rinsing with hot and cold water.
3. Pad – roll Desizing
Pre-washing: | Boiling water. |
Saturating
IWA-ENZ as follows for various fabrics.
100% Cotton Thick Fabric = 4 ~ 10g/L
100% Cotton Thin Fabric = 3 ~ 8g/L
Polyester Blended Fabrics= 3 ~ 8g/L
[Also add IWA-WAFAN 1 ~ 2g/L]
Storage:
(a) At 65 ~ 75 Deg. Cent. for 3 to 5 hours in a pit.
(b) If temperature is below 65 Deg. Cent. then keep for 12 Hours.
After Washing : By boiling water (If necessary the add IWA-WAFAN about 1 -2 g/L).
4. Winch Desizing
Pre-washing: | Boiling water (Fundamentally). |
Impregnation and reaction
IWA-ENZ as follows for various fabrics.
100% Cotton Thick Fabric = 50 ~ 150g/L
100% Cotton Thin Fabric = 30 ~ 100g/L
[Also add IWA-WAFAN 0.5 ~ 1g/L]
Reaction Time:
(a) Firstly, at 65 Deg. Cent. for 45 minutes.
(b) Then Water, If necessary with IWA-WAFAN.
Important Factors For Desizing:
Influential factors to the desizing result are Temperature of pre-washing and saturating, pH, Stabilizers, Pick-up, Penetrating Agents, Temperature of Reaction
Time for decomposing of size and after-washing of fabric for removal of decomposed size.
1. Pre-washing:
Especially, continuous desizing process requires pre-washing in order to swell the starch and simplify the reaction with starch. Pre-washing is done by running the fabric through boiling water. After that the fabric is squeezed.
2. Temperature:
The temperature is of important to the wetting ability and the desizing result. The optimum temperature for IWA-ENZ is 50 ~ 60 Deg. Cent. This temperature is usually applied for saturation.
3. pH:
The optimum pH range for IWA-ENZ is 6.5 ~ 7.5. If the pH value of the bath is outside the range of pH 6 ~ 8, it should be adjusted.
4. Pick-up:
The pick-up of desizing solution of 100 – 110% is required in order to effectively break down the starch. The desizing solution content of the fabric should be maintained during the break down period in any process.
5. Penetrating Agents:
Nonionic penetrating agents are most suitable to enzyme.
Anionic are unsuitable because some precipitation occur.
6. Temperature at reaction time:
In a steaming chamber, the following temperature is advisable:
More than 15 minutes: 75 ~ 80 Deg. Cent.
For 5 ~ 10 minutes: 85 ~ 90 Deg. Cent.
Within 3 Minutes: 95 ~ 100 Deg. Cent.
When the temperature during storage is 65 ~ 70 Deg. Cent., reaction time for 3 ~ 5 Hours is normally required. In case of requiring of low temperature, below 65 Deg. Cent., a standing time of 12 Hours (Over night) may necessary.
7. Removal decomposed size:
The decomposed size is removed by washing at highest temperature. I.e. 95 – 100 Deg. Cent. Improving the efficiency of washing, addition of 1 – 2 g/L of good penetrating agent is recommended. finally the fabric is rinsed in cold water.
