SUR MOD is the third material for softening agent, which comes next to fatty acid or silicon. This is mainly used for polyester, cotton and polyester/cotton.

Fatty acid type:
Cationic: No durability under repeated washing, weak water repellency.
Nonionic: No durability under repeated washing, no water repellency.
Silicone type:
Cationic: Good durability under repeated washing, good water repellency.
Nonionic: No durability under repeated washing, no water repellency.
